Drum Clamp
Drum Clamp - Forklifts are designed to handle lifting, storing and moving pallets. For facilities which deal with items inside drums, you will need to use an attachment to store, move and lift them. There are various drum forklift accessories that you could get for all your drum storing, moving and lifting requirements. These attachments are particularly meant to handle drum containers - hence there is no risk of damage to the product or drum container whenever they are moved, lifted or stored.
Drum Positioner And Grab
The drum positioner can be used in order to load and unload drums off of vehicles, racks, and drum stands. These are existing in three and four tine models. This particular attachment is totally automatic, thus enabling the the one operating it to be able to operate all from the comfort of the forklift seat. Able to move large and extra large plastic drums, steel, its capacity is 210 liters. This attachment is designed for drum pyramid stacking.

The Rotator
The drum rotator is a lift truck attachment that mounts on to the forks themselves. The purpose of the drum rotator is to be able to lift the drum and turn it upside down. The drum fits in to the rotator with a steel clamp that fits over the center of the drum. The rotation is performed by either a continuous loop chain or a crank handle. The crank handle is intended for operations which happen below shoulder level. For operations which must happen over shoulder level, the continuous circle chain will be used.
The drum tines are carriage mounted or simple fork attachments. They are used for stacking and unstacking 210-liter steel drums. Stacking requires nothing intricate, only simple horizontal positioning of the drums. The carriage-mounted attachments decrease the load center of the drums.
Automatic Tongs
Drum tongs come in automatic and semi-automatic versions. They are for use in the tight head or open topped steel drum styles. The drum forceps can be connected in several ways to the lift truck. One method is to connect them beneath a fork-mounted hook. One more way is to connect them to a fork-mounted jib or a carriage mounted jib. Either the automatic and semi-automatic have a drum capacity of 210 liters. With the automatic, there is no need for the person operating it to ever leave the seat of the forklift.
Rim Grip Handler
Whenever drums need storage with limited spacing available, the Rim Grip Drum Handler is the best option in drum forklift attachments. This particular accessory will work for either the 210 L drums along with 120 L drums. The Rim Grip Handler operates by utilizing steel jaws to be able to hold the rim of the drum. It picks the drum up and puts it down without needing any room between all the drums. The typical unit used in the industry is a zinc-plated handler, even though, this accessory comes obtainable in stainless steel for the food and drink market.
