Cascade Clamps - Cascade Manufacturing Company was founded in Portland, Oregon in the year 1943. They started out as a small machine shop at first employing 4 people. Sales for their initial year of operation totaled 60 thousand dollars. The very first recorded sales revenues involved the assembly and machining of stainless steel valves, pipe fittings and different parts. Through five years of operation, the business had stretched to 40 employees and their annual sales volume had risen to $330,000. Now, Cascade is amongst the top global makers within the material handling trade.

In 1964, the business altered its name to the Cascade Corporation. Afterward in the year 1965, the company went public with an initial offering of 200,000 shares of common stock. Continuing to develop, Cascade expanded their product offering further in the year 1996 and the year 1997 with the dramatic acquisition of 5 companies, along with the global best in forks, the Kenhar Corporation.
